[BUSINESS UPDATE BLOG] I needed to fulfil 650 boxes in two days....
So it's been a while because I have just gotten back from Hamilton Island. What I love about running a subscription box is you don't have to fulfil orders everyday!
....BUT it just means when you get back from holiday you need to fulfil 650 boxes in 2 days O.O
WHAT'S IT LIKE MAKING 650 BOXES FOR FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS ON A DEADLINE...
There's a lot of moving parts to a subscription box!
1. You've got PART 1 which is making the flat packed boxes into the box.
2. THEN PART 2 which is packing the book and amazing stationery.
3. LAST PART is putting the shipping labels on and getting boxes picked up by Aus post.
Usually with two people this entire process will take minimum 5 days to fulfil. BUT this time we had ALL HANDS ON DECK and did this in just 2 days.
EXPANDING THE TEAM WAS A MUST - INTRODUCING TWO NEW FACES
We introduced two new beautiful faces to the team last month. We hired Samantha to completely take over the customer service/admin side of Aussie Biz Chic! This frees up my time to work on content for Aussie Biz Chic and focus on other aspects that require my expertise to help ABC grow and flourish.
Samantha LOVES to read and has her own booktube channel. She is efficient in video editing, creating content + she's great with technology! She has been a great asset to the team!!
We also had Luke's sister Georgia join the packing team this month as we needed an extra pair of hands to help us pack! She's the tall one on the right here :P (yes I know I am very short)
